On next April 7th, Piazza di Spagna in Rome (from 10.00 to 13.30), will take place the third World Memorial Day in remembrance of all those Dads in the world who killed themselves destroyed by the pain because the contacts with their children were blocked in separation.
The symbol date of April 7th originates from the suicide of the Aosta (Northern Italy) Junior School teacher, Antonio Sonatore, who gave himself fire on 7 April 1996 in front of the Court House at Aosta as the judge prevented him from seeing his daughter after the separation with his wife.
Demonstrators want to make separated fathers awake of the emotional difficulties that generate suicides and murders.
There are no structures in Italy for the protection of fathers. Many distraught fathers are dangerous for themselves and for others.
All over the world, each year, about a thousand fathers die of suicide or suicide-murder.
In front of such a continuous slaughter, Institutions should duly intervene through concrete and precautionary actions.
At noon we will observe a 1-minute of silence to commemorate also Daniele De Nicola (who killed himself on 15 November 2007 forgotten and abandoned after his son was abducted) and to commemorate all those fathers that could not avoid suicide tragedy.
Italian and foreign associations have joined the world event.

Le 7 Avril prochain, Piazza di Spagna à Rome (de 10.00 à 13.30), aura lieu la troisième Journée Mondiale de la Mémoire de commémoration en souvenir de tous les pères qui se sont suicidés pour la douleur de s'être vus interdits de contact avec leurs enfants suite à une séparation.
La date symbolique du 7 avril correspond à la date du suicide de Antonio Sonatore, instituteur à Aoste (Nord de l'Italie), qui s’est immolé par le feu, le 7 avril 1996 devant la Cour de Justice d’Aoste, parce qu'un jugement lui avait interdit de revoir sa fille après avoir été séparé de son épouse.
Les manifestants veulent sensibiliser les pères séparés quant aux difficultés émotives qui génèrent les suicides et les homicides.
En Italie il n’y a pas de structure pour la défense des pères. De nombreux pères séparés sont dangereux pour eux-mêmes et pour les autres.
Dans le monde entier, chaque année, des milliers de pères meurent par suicide ou suicide-homicide.
En face d’un tel massacre continuel, l’intervention des Institutions est un devoir au travers d’actions concrètes et préventives.
A midi une minute de silence pour rappeler aussi Daniele de Nicola (qui s'est suicidé le 15 novembre 2007 oublié et abandonné de tous suite à l'enlèvement de son fils) et pour rappeler tous les pères qui n'ont pas pu éviter la tragédie du suicide.
Des associations italiennes et étrangères ont adhéré à l'évènement mondial.

Am kommenden 7. April 2008 auf der Piazza di Spagna in Rom (von 10 bis 13 Uhr) wird der dritte Welttag in Gedenken an alle Vaeter, die sich aufgrund des unertraeglichen Verlustgefuehls ihrer weggenommenen Kinder nach der Scheidung umgebracht haben, gefeiert.
Das symbolische Datum des 7. Aprils steht fuer den Selbstmord des Grundschullehrers von Aosta, Antonio Sonatore, der sich am 7. April 1996 selbst vor dem Gericht von Aosta in Brand gestetzt hat, weil dieses ihm verwehrte, seine Tochter nach der Trennung von seiner Frau zu sehen.
Die Demonstrierenden wollen die geschiedenen Vaeter auf die emotionalen Schwierigkeiten, die zu Mord und Selbstmord fuehren koennen, aufmerksam machen.
In Italien existieren keine Einrichtungen, die die Vaeter verteidigen. Viele verzweifelte Vaeter sind eine Gefahr fuer sich und fuer ihre Mitmenschen.
Auf der ganzen Welt sterben jedes Jahr Millionen von Vaeter aufgrund von Mord und Selbstmord. Damit diese Blutbad ein Ende hat, sind konkrete und vorbeudende Eingriffe von Seiten der Institutionen dringend noetig.
Um 12Uhr wird es eine Schweigeminute in Erinnerung auch an Daniele De Nicola (Selbstmord am 15. November 2007, vergessen und verlassen nach der Entfuehrung seines Sohnes) und an all diejenigen geben, die ebenfalls ihren letzten Ausweg im Selbstmord gesehen haben.
Diesem globalen Event sind italienische und internationale Organisationen beigetreten.
